The Library was unlocked by King Dragonid II a thousand years ago. In it are kept ancient Books, which can be used to improve the power of any dragon. For a long time, these tomes were sealed and available only to a chosen few. Now you can use the books too! But be careful: the Books are very old, and the magic written in them doesn't always work.

Usage

The Library is available on Android and iOS. It's unknown when/if Windows 10 will get the update.

Quick guide:

1. Buy the Library building if you don't have it already.
2. Click the Library and choose a dragon you wish to upgrade (you will have a chance to upgrade either attack or health).
3. Select the Attack or Health tab.
4. Earn Wisdom points by buying Wisdom Books:
   • Common=50 points for 600,000 (You can buy up to 7 every 24 hrs = 4,200,000)
   • Rare=100 points for 1,000,000 (You can buy up to 6 every 24 hrs = 6,000,000)
   • Unique=150 points for 10 (Unlimited)
   • Look at the bar to see how many points you actually need. If you earn more points than needed to fill up the bar, the excessive points will just be wasted...
5. When the bar is filled up, select Common or Superior to make an attempt to upgrade. Common costs 1,000,000, and Superior costs 50-300 (depending on the level). Superior gives a higher probability to succeed the upgrade.
6. If the attempt succeeds, you will level up +1 (you start at level 0, and max is level 9). If it fails, you will be downgraded to a safe level (0, 3, or 6).

From level 0 (the initial state before upgrades) to level 9, the levels will raise the attack or health (compared to level 0) by the Upgrade Reward. The odds of advancing to the next level is shown by the Common or Superior attempt.

Average Upgrade Cost & Attempts

The odds to succeed an upgrade to the next level, gets lower for each level. To get to level 3 should be fairly easy with just a few or no fails. To get to level 9 (with either attack or health for a single dragon), you will need a lot of gold or crystals.

The expected average cost is about 240M (~100 upgrade attempts) or 6400 (~30 upgrade attempts), spending exclusively one or the other, while a rigorous mixed spending strategy has an expected cost between 70M  and 1400  to 140M and 620 .
